Yacht Firebird is based in Tromso in Arctic Norway and sails in the region of the Lyngen Alps and the surrounding Fjords, offering some of the most beautiful off-piste skiing in the world.

Overview:

Firebird is a 27.08m sloop sailing yacht designed by Rob Humphrey to be sophisticated and beautiful. Firebird is not only beautiful and luxurious, but is also robust and at the cutting edge of technology and engineering.

The yacht is a modern, spacious floating chalet that offers guests a 360° view of the surroundings, accommodating seven guests in luxury. Guests are provided with signature orange cashmere slippers and blankets to unwind with a mug of coffee or tea on deck every morning. She is equipped with branded Heirlooms bed, bespoke designer tableware, Redington crystal and table linens. She was designed for convenience and to create the ambience of an exotic alpine chalet.

Cabins:

Yacht Firebird has four cabins – 1 Master Suite, 2 VIP double cabins and 1 single cabin, to accommodate a total of seven guests. She can carry up to four crew members, including a ski guide, to ensure that guests are comfortable and carefully catered for. For your convenience the A/C sockets are UK, US and Euro compatible, complete with additional USB charging ports and a heating system to control the temperature. The rooms are beautifully designed with bespoke furnishing and generous storage for your belongings.

All of the aft cabins offer spacious retreats with seascape windows which frame spectacular views of the outside. A state of the art cabin management system can be found in all areas of the boat controlling heating, ventilation, lights, as well as the audio/video system which offers a large selection of movies and music. You can enjoy a personal library music and films through the Airplay units in each cabin.

The Master suite has a settee and a full-sized walk-around double bed, ceiling height mirror that hides a TV screen, adjustable lighting, a vanity table and a double wardrobe.

The ensuite bathrooms in every cabin have spacious cabinets, a walk-in shower as well as a dedicated heater outlet and neatly foldable hooks which allow you to quickly change the heads into a drying room for your ski gear.

Firebird even offers guest slippers and signature orange cashmere blankets to enjoy your time on board in utmost comfort.

Food & Drink:

Enjoy an exquisite culinary experience on-board! Chef Mel carefully crafts the menus for every occasion. Fresh and local produce such a Norwegian Salmon and other local delicacies are used to create delicious and memorable meals. The dishes are tailored to your dietary requirements and flavours are carefully paired with a variety of wines.

In Arctic Norway Firebird runs a Ski and Sail programme with an incredible off-piste skiing experience. To ensure safety Firebird also provides an IFMGA mountain guide for ski touring. Customized ski racks are on board as well as boot warmers to ensure that your kit is maintained to the highest standard. The crew on board are able to organise ski equipment rental with a local company to ensure fuss free travel to the boat. You can enjoy action packed beach landings ashore with yacht’s Zodiac professional rib.
