A highly experienced teaching team challenges and supports students in the classroom and in individual tutor groups, with the assistance of top-notch facilities and classroom equipment. Pupils are given 24 hour access to the school faculty.
The Junior School welcomes boys and girls aged 5 to 13 following the Year 1 to Year 9 UK syllabus. The Senior School will open in September 2016. Students follow the British curriculum until the IGCSE stage; senior pupils progress to the two-year IB Diploma.
The school prizes interdisciplinary learning, creative thinking and transferable skills appropriate for the modern knowledge economy.
Academic rigour is accompanied by a strong offering of arts, drama and sport to challenge students to excel in as many areas of school life as possible; the location of the school is particularly convenient for students to specialise in tennis, golf, skiing and horse-riding, while all students are encouraged to get involved in team sports of all levels.
Classes are mainly taught in English, and students are encouraged to take advantage of the school’s location in Canton Valais to attain a high level of proficiency in French. Additional languages such as Mandarin will be introduced in the early years of Junior School.
Students are accommodated in the Junior and Senior Schools, under the close supervision of live-in members of staff that creates a friendly family atmosphere.
Thanks to brand new buildings, boarding students enjoy excellent modern accommodation, including en-suite shower rooms, an outstanding library and an indoor sports hall. Regular evening and weekend activities are organised, to the mountains and local cultural events, among others.
