The boarding school is located in a contemporary 19th century home in the Château d'Arvel ' in Territet - Montreux overlooking Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

Overview:

Institut Monte Rosa was established in 1874 as a boarding school and has since then become one of the best boarding schools in Switzerland. It offers a wide variety of academic programs in intensive language studies and general subject areas taught by passionate teachers in a family-like atmosphere. The academic programs are available to students between the ages of 9 and 19 years to ensure that potentials are fully realized. The school motto is ‘Virtue through work’, which inspires the students to become better citizens and work as one big family during their stay in the school. Ethics, morals, values, and teamwork is encouraged to lead to a prosperous career choice and personal life.

The school designed small and flexible classes to provide personalized teaching and vital interaction between students and teachers. Academics:

A wide range of academic programs are offered to the students from age 9 to 19 such as Intensive English courses for all levels, Business Studies Program, American Junior and High School, and Post Graduate Course, Cambridge Exams, SAT, DELF, IELTS, TOEFL and AP as well as winter and summer holiday courses. The school prepares students for the University entrance examinations and High School Diploma. Modern languages such as Italian, Spanish, German and French are also offered to provide students a range of certificates. The Department of Business Studies also offers a complete Trans-Academic program in English.

Boarding School:

The campus is a 6000 sqm with well-equipped boarding school, which features single, double or triple rooms. The students have access to TV room and computer room with internet access. The Snack bar has a Wi-Fi access for the students.

Extracurricular Activities:

Monte Rosa also offers sports and physical education to create an indispensable basis for the development of character and body. Gymnasium is also offered along with a wide range of winter and summer sports in natural surroundings. Students can indulge in sports activities with the support of the physical education instructors who train them in various disciplines.

The school develops the students’ artistic and cultural sensibility by integrating education with leisure, sports and cultural activities such as playing golf, horseback riding, skiing in the Swiss Alps, swimming and weekly cultural excursions to several cities such as Geneva, Lausanne, Lucerne, Zurich or Bern.
