An easily accessible and family friendly resort, Méribel offers great skiing conditions and a variety of both on and off-piste skiing. As part of Les Trois Vallées – the largest ski area in the world – Méribel is located on or near to some of the best ski slopes in the world. The Méribel area of Les Trois Vallées boasts 150 km of pistes, with a good split between beginner, intermediate and advanced pistes, so you are sure to find something to suit your level.

Best for beginners

The Blanchot run in the Altiport area is a protected green run in an area of gentle slopes, this run is perfect for beginners looking to hone their technique in great snow conditions and in complete safety before moving on to some of the many more challenging runs in the Méribel area.

Best for intermediates

With 40% of Méribel’s pistes being designated as suitable for intermediates, you really are spoilt for choice if this is your level. The Faon run on the Tougnete side of the valley is a great pick for intermediate skiers. For an invigorating yet relaxing ski to start the day, this sweeping blue run is a great way to get used to the day’s snow conditions before heading to more challenging pistes.

Best for experienced skiers

Reach for the skies, and enjoy some extraordinary views of the whole 3 Vallées area from the summit of the Mont Du Vallon skiing area. Experienced skiers can wind their way back down towards Méribel village along a variety of challenging and rewarding black runs.

Best for moguls, bumps and thrills

Just to the left of this lift is Roc de Tougne, a large moguls area for those who really want to put their ability to handle bumps to the test. Exhilarating and challenging, completing this area is sure to give you a real sense of achievement!

Best for off-piste skiing

Méribel boasts a variety of spectacular off-piste options, but one of the best areas is just off the Boulevard de la Lose piste. Go off piste here to discover exciting and undulating natural terrain and deep powder snow when the conditions are right. All this makes for the perfect off-piste experience – rewarding and challenging in beautiful Alpine surroundings.
