Capra Chalet lies just metres from the epicentre of Saas-Fee, meaning all the apres-ski entertainment you could hope for is only minutes away. The closest chairlift, the Saastal Bergbahnen AG, is a 10-minute walk from the chalet. But don’t worry about having to lug your gear, because the lodge has a private heated ski locker at the lift for a convenient start to the day.

The chalet is connected to Hotel Capra via an underground tunnel, affording you direct access to its five-star amenities.

Guests can transfer from Geneva Airport in 2 hours and 45 minutes.

With nine-bedrooms spread over four luxurious floors, Capra is among the largest private lodgings in central Saas-Fe. The chalet contains six tastefully decorated doubles and two sumptuous family suites, the latter of which can house a family of four by unfolding two hidden bunks. The Penthouse suite boasts a private living and dining space as well as two stylish en-suite doubles.

A multitude of chic common areas is scattered through the complex, providing plenty of opportunities to mingle at the end of the day. The cosy downstairs lounge dubbed ‘The Library’ comes complete with a crackling fireplace and rows of book-lined shelves. Upstairs, a stylish bar is stocked with imported spirits, and a breezy balcony offers sweeping alpine views.

Access to the hotel’s two exquisite restaurants is through the underground tunnel, as is the kid-friendly ‘Fun Lab’ that’s packed full of games like foosball and table tennis.
