70 Hectares... & l'Océan sits in the lush Landes pine forest within Seignosse, a relaxed seaside commune in the south west of France.

The hotel peers out over the immaculately manicured greens of the Seignosse Golf Course, which stretches all the way to the sea.

An 8-minute drive will bring you to La Cabane des Estagnots, a cute little private beach club that’s brilliant for a sunset apertif. Guests get unrestricted access, day and night.

The closest airport is in Biarritz, a 50-minute drive away. You can also arrive from the Bordeaux Airport in about 2 hours.

Rooms & Suites

The hotel’s 32 rooms and suites sit within a three-storey timber building that lies hidden within thick cork oaks and pines. Licks of mint and sage paint on the exterior mimic the texture of the trees.

All rooms have a large windows that open outwards for lush forest views, and most come with a balcony or terrace so guests can unwind outside.

Indoors, chic décor like hanging lights and minimalist furnishings set cheerful, playful scene. Marked lines clash with curves to contradict balance and rythm. Green timber doors stand out against the whitewashed walls to reinforce the uniform theme.

Custom-created lithographs and contemporary photographs add interest to each room.

All ensuites come with stacked vertical tiles, walk-in showers, and high-end L:A Bruket organic products.

Pools & Facilities

A refreshing pool sits next the main house, wedged in between the pines. With a spacious timber deck and a long row of cosy recliners, it’s an inviting spot to sunbathe or swim.

For wellness you get a preferential access to the L:A Bruket Spa, located at its sister property, Hortensias du Lac (8 minute drive).

One of the most beautiful courses in France, the stunning Golf Seignosse, lies at your doorstep—reception can organise access throughout the year.

Food & Drinks

70 Hectares... & l'Océan prides itself on serving seasonal gourmet cuisine. Locally sourced ingredients compromise virtually every dish, and a rotating menu is your favourite French recipe ensuring each dish aligns with the seasons.

Dine outdoors during the evening in the rotisserie to savour the seafood specialties of southwestern France. At lunch, the restaurant serves light and simple dishes at alfresco tables overlooking the golf course.

If you just fancy a drink to unwind after an action-packed day, a wide selection of wine (and other alcoholic goodies) get served on the pool deck.

La Cabane des Estagnots does a rotating menu of tasty French recipes right on the beach. It’s gourmet plancha, seafood, and salad go down a treat with a cocktail in hand.
