Its proximity to major cities makes the location of the villa unique - Lausanne (30m drive), Geneva (1hr drive), Bern (50m drive), Basel (2hrs drive) and Zurich (2hrs drive).

If you stay in winter, you will welcome the short distance to the favorite Swiss ski resorts as well - Verbier (1h), Gstaad (1h) and Zermatt (2h) - to enjoy skiing in the Swiss Alps. 

Property:

Originally built in 1906 as the private residence of the Mayor of Montreux, it has been renovated with state of the art technology to provide you with utmost comfort and luxury whilst keeping the historical value intact. Villa has a 4000 sqm garden surrounding it on all 4 sides and the property is based on 3 floors and 2 basements. It also has 2 west side basement annex. An elevator system along with stairways connects all the floors. The stairways are artistically designed with Spanish marble flooring.

As you make your entrance to the ground floor, you’ll find a massive interior, designed with handcrafted décor. The spacious living area accommodates up to 10 guests, has a fireplace and leads to the outdoor terrace with Jacuzzi. A formal dining room connects to a fully equipped kitchen. A central parlour restored to its ancient elegance has an exquisite design with the white oak flooring and Murano Glass chandelier. A separate private office on the ground floor will keep you in touch with your work while making you feel cozy with the fireplace.

Villa offers you 5 en-suite bedrooms. 3 double en-suite bedrooms are located on the first floor and have shared balcony. Master suite with en-suite bathroom, dressing room and a balcony for elevated panoramic views of the Alps and Lake of Geneva is on the second floor. 

The new extension wing on the West side has 2 independent studio apartments with bathrooms for guests or staff, 5th en-suite bedroom and an open spacious rooftop terrace. It also has a sheltered garage for 5 cars.

The villa is on the northern bank of Lake Geneva and the shore is approximately on a 5 minutes’ drive. The downtown of Geneva is on a 1 hour drive away.
