Apartment Alex is a beautiful duplex apartment occupying the top two floors of Chalet Shalimar and it is located close to the Matterhorn Express gondola. It is located just a 15-minute stroll or a 5-minute taxi ride away from the centre of Zermatt.

Details

Apartment Alex combines two separate apartments through internal doors to accommodate up to 12 guests in its six en-suite bedrooms. Guests can rent each apartment separately or combine them with another four bedroom apartment on the ground floor to cater for larger groups. There's a lift that takes you to the main living and dining areas on the second floor.

The living area is furnished with comfy sofas and armchairs set around stone fireplaces. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining area can seat 10 to 20 guests. There are two TV rooms in the apartment and they are equipped with Apple TV and cosy seating. The living area features floor-to-ceiling French windows that lead onto furnished south-facing balconies with impressive views of the Matterhorn.

The apartment has 6 spacious double/twin bedrooms with private balconies and en-suite bathrooms featuring power showers and bathtubs. The two master bedrooms are stylishly designed and they also offer incredible views of the Matterhorn.

Wellness

Guests can visit the apartment’s spa after a day on the slopes. The spa is located on the ground floor of the chalet and it’s shared with the other apartment, featuring an indoor pool, sauna, hammam and a massage room.
