Location

The chalet is located in Winkelmatten, a five-minute walk to the centre of the town and a ten-minute walk to the Express Gondola that transports guests to the Glacier Paradise.

In good snow conditions it is possible to ski in and ski from the chalet.

Details

Chalet Shalimar is an ideal destination to ski in and ski out from the door of the chalet. The ten bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms can accommodate up to 20 people. Furnished with traditional alpine wood and timber, it has a stylish interior that create a warm and welcoming ambiance for guests. The living and dining area with fireplace and TV is for comfort and relaxation. Guests can enjoy the majestic view of the Matterhorn through the floor-to-ceiling sliding door.

The ten twin/double bedrooms have en-suite facilities; six of them have private balconies while the remaining four are located on the ground floor with access to the All the bedrooms have TVs and cosy furnishings.There is also a ski room with heated boot warmers in the apartment.

One part of the top floor has the main dining area and the living area takes the other end. The ground level has several kitchens and further living and dining areas.

The chalet can also be split into two apartments for smaller groups - Elena and Alex.

Wellness

There is a superb spa on the lower ground floor featuring an indoor swimming pool, sauna, massage room and hammam. Guests can relax and unwind in style while enjoying the spectacular views of the Matterhorn.
